The Laparoscopic Surgery Unit at Ashirvad Hospital has played a pioneering role in the establishment and advancement of laparoscopic surgery in Eastern Uttar Pradesh since 2002. Over the past two decades, the hospital has become one of the region’s leading centres for minimally invasive and gynaecological laparoscopic procedures, offering advanced surgical care with excellent patient outcomes.

The unit is headed by Dr. Shalabh Gupta, who received specialized training in laparoscopic surgery in England for six years before returning to India in 2002.
